nidobin is a relaxed, cozy, and safe place to keep notes of any kind. Think of it as your personal digital notebook that you can choose to share with the world, or keep tucked away just for you.

Whether you're jotting down a quick idea, writing a long-form journal entry, or sharing code snippets with friends, nidobin gives you a clean, distraction-free environment to focus on what matters: your content.

Inspired by the early internet's simplicity and a love for Markdown, this is a digital garden where your ideas can grow without the noise of ads or tracking. It's just you, your words, and a community of like-minded folks.

Safe and Sound

Your thoughts are safe here. You can make your bins public for the world to see, unlisted to share only with those who have the link, or private for your eyes only.

We don't track you, we don't serve ads, and we don't sell your data. This is a solo project built with love by a web developer from Boston (go Sox!), not a corporate product built for profit.

Fair and Sustainable

To keep nidobin cozy and sustainable for everyone, we have a few simple tiers. We want to ensure there's plenty of room for everyone's thoughts without cluttering the nest.

Account Tiers & Benefits

Regular Users: The default tier for all new accounts. Up to 100 bins, 40k characters per bin. To keep the garden tidy, bins are pruned after 1 year of inactivity.
Power Users: A free upgrade for trusted users. Up to 500 bins, 60k characters per bin. Bins are kept for 2 years of inactivity.
Premium Users: For those who want to support the project. Up to 2,000 bins, 100k characters per bin. Bins are kept for 5 years of inactivity (safety net only).

Note: We'll never delete content you're actively using! Viewing a bin resets its activity timer.
