About nidobin

nidobin is a nest of bins. The name comes from nido, the Italian word for nest, and bin, like a little container you toss things into. That's kind of what this place is. A cozy spot on the internet where things get sorted into rooms and bins, not because they have to be, but because it's nice to wander through a place that has some shape to it.

This is a passion project by a web developer from Boston. It's built in the spirit of the indieweb, the old internet, the one where people made weird little homes online and filled them with whatever they cared about. Before everything got flattened into feeds and algorithms. nidobin is an attempt to bring a little of that back.
